Bookings for Isle of Man Steam Packet Company 2019 sailings will open next Monday (29th October).
Now is a great time to start planning your travel, with more than 900,000 offer seats available during the year.
The Steam Packet Company has also confirmed Ben-my-Chree will continue to operate daily sailings between Heysham and Douglas, as well as the weekend winter services between Douglas and Birkenhead. The Company’s fast craft, Manannan, will resume regular sea services into the heart of Liverpool from 29th March, Belfast from 7th April and Dublin from 18th April.
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Chief Executive Mark Woodward said: ‘We understand that people like to start organising their holidays and travel arrangements as early as possible, so we are pleased to confirm our schedules and release our bookings for 2019.
‘Whatever your plans – perhaps catching up with family and friends to celebrate a milestone occasion, attending a sports or musical event or heading to a festival - ferry travel is ideal and gives you the freedom to take your car, meaning it’s more convenient to reach your chosen location, wherever that may be.
‘We’ve brought back our popular Kids Go Free Summer Special for 2019 and all of our car offers. We’re delighted to be able to continue offering low cost foot passenger fares which have remained the same as 2018. Adult fares start from just £19.75 and children from just £10.75. Infants aged under four continue to travel for free.’
Among the range of car offers available, two people travelling with a car can choose from three-day, five-day and any length of stay options with prices starting from just £73 each way. Special offers are also available for up to four people travelling with a car with the return of the Starlight and Day Trip offers.
For families planning ahead for their 2019 summer break, the Steam Packet Company will once again run its popular Kids Go Free offer. Two adults travelling with a car between 2nd July and 29th August 2019 will be able to take up to three children for free.
Mr Woodward continued: ‘Also returning for 2019 is the popular Student Foot Passenger offer, designed to assist students in full time off-island Further or Higher Education when traveling to and from the Island. These students can book foot passenger fares at the lowest prices and benefit from the flexibility of not paying amendment fees if their travel plans change and there are no weekend supplements.
‘Despite once again proving extremely popular, there is still some availability for TT 2019 sailings. We’ve also reintroduced our TT Escape offer which will be of interest to any island residents wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of TT fortnight.’
Mr Woodward concluded: ‘It is important that we promote the island as a desirable holiday destination but also make sure we have lots of great offers for island residents wanting to get away. There are more than 900,000 offer seats available during 2019 and plenty of opportunities to secure our lowest prices, especially for those who book early. We’re looking forward to welcoming new and returning faces on board in the new year.’
Bookings for 2019 can be made from 7am on Monday 29th October at www.steam-packet.com, where you will also find details of all special offers, including full terms and conditions.
