Supporting our island community
We aim to enhance the quality of life for our island residents and support local talents and organisations. If you're part of a local charity, sports team, or community group and need support, we're here to help. Depending on your needs, be it travel assistance, charity vouchers, or sponsorship, we have different options to support you. Our tradition of supporting the local community spans over a century, and we're always excited to see new initiatives and ideas. Types of support
Fundraising vouchers
Our charity vouchers extend support to various organisations, businesses, and groups hosting fundraising events like raffles. We've proudly supported many local business raffles and school Mhelliah’s, ensuring that fundraising efforts thrive and continue to benefit the community.
Supported travel
We’re refreshing our Manx Community Assistance scheme to make it simpler, clearer and easier to apply. Applications for Supported Travel will close on 28th February, and will reopen on 13th March.
Any Supported Travel applications received after 28th February will not be considered. Applications should be made when the new MCA scheme launches on 13th March.
Applications for our Supported Sports Scheme and Fundraising Vouchers remain unchanged and applications will be processed as normal.
Details about the new application process and application window will be shared on 13th March.

Supported sports
Our supported sports scheme initiative helps athletes who compete beyond our island shores by providing essential support and discounted travel rates. Through this scheme, we've empowered many athletes to achieve their dreams and proudly represent the Isle of Man on a broader stage. To qualify for the scheme, applicants must complete six or more return trips from the Isle of Man to events in which they are competing within the calendar year.
