The Isle of Man is being promoted as the ideal short-break getaway for people living in the North West of England.

In the latest partnership between the two companies, the Sefton Group and Isle of Man Steam Packet Company are running an exclusive short-break offer until 23rd May 2015.

The package is for a return foot passenger on the ferry and two nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation at the BEST WESTERN Palace Hotel and Casino, from just £125 per person. Anyone wishing to bring their car to help explore the Island can do so for a small supplement.

Promotion of the package will be via a jointly funded four-week campaign, timed in the run up to Easter, with adverts featuring in the Liverpool Echo and Sunday Echo during March and early April. The campaign follows successful joint offers by the companies in recent years.

Sefton Group Marketing Manager Nicola Wilkinson said: ‘Joint offers with the Steam Packet Company have proved increasingly popular with visitors and we’re confident that this latest short-break package will be no exception.

‘The BEST WESTERN Palace Hotel and Casino is an ideal base for a short break in the Island, particularly as it has the added attraction of having so much entertainment on-site, including the Casino, Slots and Bingo, Palace Cinema, Palace Health Club and Tahiko Nightclub.’

Brian Convery from Steam Packet Holidays said: ‘Both companies are very keen to build on the success the Island has enjoyed in marketing itself as a short-break destination, particularly to those living in and around the North West.

‘The offer is great value and there is so much going on in the Island over the next few months, including the Easter Festival of Plays (April 4th-10th), the CAMRA Real Ale of Man Beer Festival (April 9th-11th), and the Manx Music Festival, which starts on April 24th.

‘The offer is also ideal for anyone looking to visit friends and family on the Isle of Man, so if you’re an Island resident, please share this fantastic offer with your off-Island loved ones.’
