MANANNAN RETURNS TO DOUGLAS DUE TO MEDICAL EMERGENCY

Today’s (Sat 16 August) 0715hrs Manannan sailing from Douglas to Liverpool returned to Douglas following a medical emergency.

The incident happened 30 minutes into the crossing, and Manannan headed back to evacuate the passenger, arriving in Douglas shortly before 0900hrs, before setting off again for Liverpool.

As a consequence, today’s subsequent Manannan services to and from Liverpool will be delayed. The 1130hrs Liverpool to Douglas sailing is now scheduled to depart at 1315hrs.  This afternoon’s Douglas to Liverpool crossing scheduled for 1530hrs is now estimated to depart no earlier than 1715hrs – and passengers are requested to check in no later than 1630hrs.

This evening’s Liverpool to Douglas return, originally scheduled for 2030hrs, is now estimated to depart no earlier than 2130hrs – with an anticipated check in no later than 2045hrs.
