The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is confirming a number of changes to the published schedule due to operational requirements.

With arrival and departure times in Douglas Harbour coinciding with low water from Wednesday 9th of April through to Tuesday 15th April, the Company is having to make adjustments to the schedule to avoid lowest water conditions.

Sailings affected are those operated by Manxman or Ben-my-Chree, which require the same under keel clearance to operate safely.

The Isle of Man Department of Infrastructure’s Harbours Division has scheduled plough dredging work to begin next week to address high spots within the harbour.

In addition, Manxman is set to be out of service on 15th April in order to undertake its annual Marine Evacuation System (“MES”) deployment exercise. Ben-my-Chree will operate the scheduled Isle of Man to Heysham return sailing.

Passengers on any sailings affected will be contacted via text or email to inform them of any changes to plans.

Where changes mean passengers are unable to travel on their original bookings, full refunds or amends will be made free of charge.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by this situation.
