MANANNAN – UPDATE 16.30 HOURS – 28/03/16

28/3/2016

Due to factors outside our control, the dry dock at Cammell Laird is not available to us this afternoon (Monday) as originally advised. The vessel due to depart today could not leave as scheduled and we must therefore wait until the dock is clear.

Manannan will therefore remain on the landing stage at Liverpool for 24 hours and will enter dry dock on Tuesday afternoon. She is expected to depart from the dock around 04:00 Thursday (31st March), provided the tides are as predicted.

CEO Mark Woodward said:

‘This is very disappointing after the effort made by the Company to have the vessel and all logistics in place ready for this afternoon. However, over the next 24 hours there is much preparation work which can still be completed in order to prepare the centre bow for repair.

‘Arrangements for our passengers for the next few days are detailed below. We sincerely apologise for this further delay.’
