Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Fleet in Douglas Harbour

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company (IOMSPC) is inviting public feedback via an online survey as it progresses planning for the next ship to join the fleet, due in 2030.

The Company is investing heavily in the future of its vital connections between the Island and its neighbours, particularly the strategic link to Liverpool.

This new vessel will be replacing High Speed Craft Manannan which has served with the Company since 2009. Manannan was built in Tasmania in 1998, and served with the US military prior to acquisition by IOMSPC.

Although the new vessel is being built to IOMSPC designs to replace Manannan in the fleet, due to changes in technology, regulations, and customer wants and needs, this will not be a direct replacement on a like-for-like basis.

The consultation is intended to give users and residents an opportunity to give IOMSPC feedback on their views of the current vessels, priorities for improvements and what future service might look like.

The consultation is being carried out as an online survey. The survey can be accessed here: https://surveys.strat7audiences.com/survey/selfserve/c03/260123?list=101

The survey will run for one week.
