After running a major survey in 2024, the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is honouring its commitment to listen to Manx residents by launching a follow-up project to hear from the public.

The aim is to gather feedback on current and future services, identify issues, and hopefully see where the Company has improved by comparing the data with last year’s. 

As with 2024’s edition, the survey is designed to collect valuable feedback from the community regarding various aspects of the Steam Packet’s operations.

Opinions will again be gauged on the convenience and adequacy of the current sailing times and routes, current levels of service, and what residents would like to see in terms of future developments, as well as much else.

The feedback will assist with ensuring IOMSPC supports the long-term sustainability of the Company, and its contribution to the island’s economic and social well-being. 

Managing Director Brian Thomson commented ‘We have made a commitment to being a customer first organization. We’re making big strides towards that being a reality and this survey helps to underline our resolve.’ 

‘Following the 2024 survey we almost immediately increased the last-minute availability of offer fares, and the results also helped to shape our strategic pricing initiatives – including Kids Go Free as we could see families were really struggling to use our services.’ 

‘We do value every response we get to these surveys – and to our Trustpilot account – it helps us to become a better service.’ 

The survey is open for one week and will close on 17th September.
