Ben-my-Chree to operate Wednesday and Thursday sailings

Former flagship Ben-my-Chree will be in action on Wednesday and Thursday’s Heysham-Douglas sailings.

Recently returned from a short-term charter to Stena Line, Ben-my-Chree will undertake three return sailings from Douglas to Heysham, starting with Wednesday’s (5th) 20:00 sailing. The final sailing will be the 01:45 departure from Heysham on Friday 7th February, scheduled to arrive in Douglas for 05:45.

As fleet reserve vessel, Ben-my-Chree is kept ready to be able to step in to cover sailings where necessary, but can also go out on charter to other operators, subject to a return clause to comply with Sea Services Agreement provisions.

While Ben-my-Chree is in service the opportunity will be taken to deep clean Manxman and complete maintenance tasks that are not possible while the vessel is in day-to-day service.
