Grand National Day Excursion -  Important Update (Saturday 11 April)

Following the latest weather forecast, there is an increasing likelihood that the return sailing from Liverpool to Douglas on Saturday 11th April will be affected by adverse sea conditions.

While the outward sailing is expected to operate as scheduled, Steam Packet Holidays has made the decision to cancel the Day Excursion package.

Your Options

1. Cancel and receive a full refund

All customers are entitled to a full refund for the cancelled package.

If you have already collected your Grand National entry tickets, please return these to the Ferry Travel Shop so we can process your cancellation and refund.

2. Still wish to travel?

We understand some customers may still wish to travel to Liverpool and attend the Grand National.

• You may travel on the outward sailing as planned
• Your event tickets remain valid
• Coach transfers will still operate as scheduled
• Our Reservations team can assist in arranging an alternative return sailing (subject to availability)

Please note:
If you choose to travel, this will be treated as an alternative to the cancelled package. Your travel will therefore be outside of the original package arrangements, and you will not be eligible for a full refund. Any additional costs you incur, such as accommodation or other arrangements, will be your responsibility.
