Terminal and car marshalling areas are opened 2 hours 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
CHECK-IN
Check-in is opened 2 hours 30 minutes prior to sailing.
Car passengers should check-in at the vehicle booths, which can be accessed via Jesse Hartley Way, following the road around to the left and proceeding to the terminal via the roundabout. The latest check-in for car drivers and their passengers is 45 minutes prior to departure.
Foot passengers should check-in at the Passenger check-in inside the terminal, at least 25 minutes prior to departure.
Congestion may be caused due to road closures when certain events are held within Liverpool. We advise all passengers to plan in advance of their journey to ensure they arrive on time.
EVENTS IN LIVERPOOL
Some events being held in Liverpool may cause congestion and roads to be closed. It is important that you plan your journey to the port in advance to ensure you arrive in time.
CAR PARKING FACILITIES
Due to space restrictions we are unable to offer our travelling customers long-term car parking facilities at Liverpool port. However, we have teamed up with Q-Park to offer our customers discounted parking when pre-booked online. The Q-Park Liverpool ONE car park is conveniently located minutes away from the port in the heart of Liverpool ONE. PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Moorfields and James Street stations are the nearest Mersey Rail stations and are approximately a 15-20 minute walk from Liverpool Port. We advise all passengers to visit the Mersey Rail website for the latest timetables.
Liverpool Lime Street is the closest National Rail train station and is approximately a 30 minute walk from Liverpool Port. Mersey Rail provide train services from Moorfields and James Street to Lime Street. We advise all passengers to visit the National Rail website for the latest timetables.
There is a regular bus service operated by Stagecoach to and from the Ferry Terminal via Liverpool One bus station (Stand 5) and details of timetables and fares can be found on the Stagecoach website, click here.
LEFT LUGGAGE FACILITY
Passengers can check-in left luggage for a cost of £2.50 per bag.
The left luggage facility is strictly for the day of travel only. Bags cannot be left overnight or for longer periods of time.
Luggage will only be accepted prior to check-in and will not be accepted once check in is operational.
All luggage will be security screened and loaded ready for shipment to Isle of Man. Luggage will not be accessible to passengers after it has been checked-in.
COFFEE SHOP
The coffee shop is located in the departure lounge with hot and cold drinks available along with a variety of snacks to choose from. Once on board our vessels there is a wide selection of freshly prepared hot and cold meals available from the Eatery.
