The Motorman will be responsible for:

·         Assisting the Engine Room Watchkeepers as required, in particular with regard to the operation of plant.

·         Assisting with the maintenance of all machinery, technical equipment, plant, etc, as required by an Engineering Officer.

·         Assisting with bunkering operations as required.

·         Control and distribution of Engine Room consumables. 

·         Assist with raising requisitions for the replenishment of stores.

·         General cleaning, housekeeping duties as instructed by an Engineering Officer.

·         Any other duties assigned to him/her by the Chief Engineer.
