Digital Marketing Executive – Full-time position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive within the Marketing Department. The successful applicant will help shape and implement the marketing plans in line with the marketing strategy to support the Company’s growth ambitions. This is an office-based role, working from the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company’s Imperial Buildings office in Douglas, Isle of Man.

About the role

The main responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Executive will be:

  • Input into creating digital marketing and content plans to deliver goals of marketing strategy as part of wider Marketing Team and in conjunction with marketing and PR agencies.
  • Channel ownership (social, email and website)
  • Input into channel strategy.
  • Day-to-day implementation and management of campaign plans – (social, email, and BAU)
  • Lead on reporting campaigns (as above)
  • Work with Project Manager, Marketing Assistant and external agencies to design and produce digital content across a variety of formats
  • Write and/or proofread marketing copy for both digital and print campaigns
  • Organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions etc
  • Ensure community support and sponsorship programmes deliver maximum PR value.

Attributes Requirements

The skills and qualifications that the successful candidates are expected to have include:

  • Have minimum of three years proven experience working in a previous relevant role.
  • Have comprehensive understanding of best practice for different channels.
  • Have excellent written communications skills with the ability to write materials for different audiences.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
  • Relevant professional qualifications
  • Self-drive and motivation to deliver excellent results
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Good organisational skills
  • High level of computer literacy
