The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is supporting a local team which will attempt to climb three of the highest peaks in the British Isles in just 24 hours.
The 12-strong team, all colleagues at Swagelok in Tromode, will head to the UK in September to take on the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and Sure have again teamed up to sponsor next month’s one-day TinkerMann music festival.
TinkerMann takes place at the Villa Marina on Saturday, August 15th and is organised by experienced local promoter Mark Armstrong of TalisMann Promotions. The Steam Packet Company and Sure both sponsored the inaugural festival in 2014 and it is supported by Isle of Man Arts Council.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is giving its support to a musical comedy show raising money for charity.
Nun Factor 2 – It’s Second to Nun will be performed at the Peel Centenary Centre in September to raise money for the volunteer-run entertainment venue as well as a charity helping families in Uganda.

The Steam Packet Company will run additional sailings during the Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling to further increase capacity for fans.
Freight vessel MV Arrow, which is on charter to the Company, will operate four extra return services during the festival fortnight. This will in particular free space on Ben-my-Chree sailings between Douglas and Heysham for visitors and their cars and vans.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has renewed its partnership with a leading whale and dolphin charity which will conduct surveys of marine life in the Irish Sea.
ORCA is one of the UK’s leading charities dedicated to studying and protecting whales, dolphins and porpoise in UK, European and adjoining waters. It monitors whale and dolphin populations and helps protect vulnerable habitats.
