  • STEAM PACKET COMPANY SUPPORTS DEEP SOUTH FESTIVAL 2015

    The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is delighted to offer its support to this year’s Deep South Festival.

    Now in its third year, the two-day festival takes place at Stone Field, Port St Mary on Saturday, July 4th and Sunday, July 5th, with headline acts including The Christians and China Crisis.

    There will be three main stages during the festival, and while the main focus is on music, there will be plenty of other attractions, including performances of ‘Lion’, a ‘mysterious, magic, illuminating dance’ which originated in China under the Ming Dynasty.

  • MANANNAN’S ROUND-THE-ISLAND CRUISE RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY APRIL 26

    The round-the-Island cruise by Manannan planned for this Sunday (March 29th) has been rescheduled to the end of April to allow the excursion to proceed in more favourable weather conditions.  

    The cruise will now take place on Sunday, April 26th, departing Douglas at 11:30. All passengers booked on the excursion will be automatically transferred and new tickets will be sent out. Full refunds will be given to those who cannot make the new date.

  • STEAM PACKET COMPANY SUPPORTS RETURN OF COATIS TO CURRAGHS WILDLIFE PARK IN ANNIVERSARY YEAR

    Coatis have made a welcome return to the Curraghs Wildlife Park following the arrival of four new residents.

    One male and three female Coatis, also known as Coatimundi, were transported from Zoo De Pont Scorff in Northern France. They completed the journey to the Isle of Man with assistance from the Steam Packet Company.

    The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is supporting a charity concert in Douglas where some of the biggest disco hits of the 1970s and 1980s will be performed.

    Acclaimed tribute performers ABBA Reunion will bring the classic songs of the legendary Swedish group to the stage of the Royal Hall at the Villa Marina to raise money for the South Douglas Old Friends Association.

  • ISLE OF MAN STEAM PACKET COMPANY SUPPORTS MAJOR ART EXHIBITION INSPIRED BY MANX LANDMARK

    Professor Keith McIntyre's work is inspired by Burroo, also known as the Drinking Dragon, a distinctive rock formation off the southern tip of the Calf of Man

    The Steam Packet Company is supporting a major art exhibition inspired by a geological feature off the coast of the Isle of Man.

    Large works by Scottish artist Professor Keith McIntyre will be displayed at Isle of Man Airport and the Market Hall in Douglas from 25th March until 11th April as part of the exhibition organised by Isle of Man College of Further and Higher Education.
