  • STEAM PACKET COMPANY HELPS BRING NEVERLAND TO THE GAIETY THEATRE

    The Gaiety Theatre will be transformed into Neverland for a forthcoming production of Peter Pan, thanks to generous support from the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. 

     

    The Parker & Snell production based on JM Barrie’s much-loved children’s book will have a three-day run at the Gaiety from Thursday, 7th April until Saturday, 9th April, with two performances (matinee and evening) each day.

  • STEAM PACKET COMPANY HELPS ELLAN VANNIN GYMNASTICS CLUB RECOVER FROM FLOOD DAMAGE

    The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has supported Ellan Vannin Gymnastics Club as it recovers from severe damage caused by December’s devastating floods.


    The Club’s headquarters, situated adjacent to the National Sports Centre in Douglas, lost all but a few pieces of equipment in the flooding on 3rd December.

  • ISLE OF MAN STEAM PACKET COMPANY PUTS ITS SUPPORT BEHIND ‘LEJOG’ CHARITY CHALLENGE

    The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has put its support behind a charity challenge which will see a team of fundraisers cycle almost 1,000 miles through Britain.

    The Children’s Centre is offering Island residents the chance to join the Land’s End to John O’Groats (LEJOG) cycle challenge in July. Over nine days the riders will cover the length of the British Isles to raise money for the Manx charity which develops, manages and pioneers community initiatives and services aimed at enabling children, young people and families to realise their full potential.

  • ISLE OF MAN STEAM PACKET COMPANY SUPPORTS MARATHON EFFORT BY THE CHILDREN’S CENTRE

    A marathon fundraising effort by The Children’s Centre has received the backing of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.

    The charity, which develops, manages and pioneers initiatives and services for children, young people and families, is planning to take a team of 11 runners to compete in the Asics Greater Manchester Marathon on 10th April.

  • CHARITY CONCERT FEATURING ABBA TRIBUTE TO RETURN WITH SUPPORT FROM THE ISLE OF MAN STEAM PACKET COMPANY

    A charity concert which proved a hit last year will return to the Villa Marina in July, with support from the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.

     

    Acclaimed tribute performers ABBA Reunion delighted an audience of more than 600 people with renditions of some of the biggest disco hits of the 1970s and 1980s last time they visited. They were so popular organiser Marc Lowey has arranged a return trip.
