UPDATE 07:00 Friday 13^th February

The Steam Packet Company wishes to advise passengers that its Engineers are continuing to work on the damaged propeller system.

They are in the process of changing components in one of the propeller control systems and this should be completed within the next few hours.

When completed the system will be tested and, if successful, it is hoped the Ben will then be able to resume her sailing schedule.

The Ben sustained damage to her port propeller system when entering Douglas Harbour yesterday evening.

In the meantime passengers for this morning's 0845 departure to Heysham are requested to check in no later than 09:30 when a further update will be given.
