With the number of motorcycles booked for TT2013 currently running over 10% ahead of the same period last year, the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is looking to boost visitor numbers even more by once again running its popular ‘TT Taster Offer’.
The offer allows visiting fans to attend the TT Festival during the quieter Practice Week period for just £99 for a motorcycle and rider. This offer has already proved popular, with many bookings in place, however there is still some availability and it can be booked online at www.steam-packet.com

The TT Taster products are being promoted at the Motorcycle Live Show at the NEC in Birmingham, which launched on November 24 and runs until December 2.
Steam Packet Company Chief Executive Mark Woodward said: ‘We have increased our vehicle capacity for TT by around 50% over the past decade or so. Our vessels are once again scheduled to operate round the clock and as in previous years we have already chartered some additional tonnage for the TT period.
‘Advance bookings for motorcycles are ahead of the same period last year and are indicative of the TT’s continued popularity. Many peak sailings are already fully booked for vehicles so the TT Taster Offer will help boost visitor numbers during the festival’s quieter periods, maximising a vital contribution to the local economy.
‘It is very doubtful that additional vessels will be made available to us for the peak days although we will continue to search but there is still space for foot passengers throughout the fortnight.’
