Ben-my-Chree berthed in Douglas around 1200 today, with tug assistance. Investigations continue into the issue with its starboard pitch control, which caused the delay in leaving Heysham for this morning’s scheduled 0215 sailing.

Passengers have been advised that an update regarding the repair, and today’s IOM-Heysham services, will be issued at 1530.

However, we can confirm that an extra Manannan sailing to Heysham has been added to the schedule. This will leave the Isle of Man at 2345, returning at 02.30. For the return, passengers are asked to check-in at Heysham as they normally would for the Ben-my-Chree.

Tomorrow’s schedule will depend on how repairs to Ben-my-Chree progress today. As indicated in our statement this morning, we have extended our charter of the freighter Arrow and she will complete an additional freight service at 1700 today from Douglas and 0100 from Heysham.
