The Ben-my-Chree will be hosting the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company’s first round-the-Island trip of 2010.

The excursion, which offers a fantastic way to enjoy the Island’s magnificent coastline, will take place this Saturday (June 19).

This year’s Ben-my-Chree excursion has been scheduled to take advantage of the long June evenings, giving passengers the opportunity to savour the Island’s spectacular scenery from the sea while the sun sets late into the evening.

The trip will leave at 1900. Tickets are just £19 for an adult and £15 for a child and include a hot meal with dessert and light refreshments.

Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Chief Executive Mark Woodward said: ‘Our round-the-Island trips offer residents and visitors an unusual way to view parts of the Island’s coastline that they may not ordinarily see. These trips can provide a relaxing and convivial way to spend an evening taking in the spectacular scenery we have on our doorstep, but may not always have the opportunity to enjoy.’
