The 11.15 Liverpool to Douglas sailing this morning (3rd September), has been cancelled due to a strong wind warning in the Irish Sea for late morning.

It was originally anticipated that the sailing would not be affected but a faster moving than predicted weather front necessitated the cancellation. This  latest weather information was issued by the by the Met Office after the 07.30 Viking departure this morning.   

Passengers travelling on the 11.15 sailing will be transferred to the Ben-my-Chree sailing from Heysham  at 14.15.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company reservation staff are contacting passengers by text or telephone today to advise them of the cancellation and their transfer options.
