IRISH SEASON BEGINS

5/6/2008

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company summer service to and from Dublin and Belfast commences next week.

Snaefell, one of the Company’s two fast craft will undertake two sailings per week on each route, starting on 13th June to Dublin and 14th June to Belfast, until the end of August.  Taking around 2 hours 55 minutes, the sailings will link the two islands that have always enjoyed such a close relationship.

Chief Executive Mark Woodward said: “Our summer season of sailings to Dublin and Belfast creates a convenient and affordable link between the two beautiful islands.  This makes Irish trips and holidays easier for Manx residents and will serve to boost the Irish visitor contingent to the Isle of Man”.
