The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Backs Local Food Producers

Manx Food Producers showcased what the Isle of Man has to offer as visitors left the Isle of Man this week.

On Wednesday local farmers and producers set up stalls in the Sea Terminal as visitors on an Isle of Man Steam Packet Company day trip from Fleetwood returned home.

Chief Executive Mark Woodward said: “This is a great way for local food producers to showcase what they and the Isle of Man have to offer. The initiative was welcomed and our visitors were extremely enthusiastic about our local specialities.”

The initiative, also backed by the Department of Transport, may be repeated for future day trips.
