The Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be a global concern and the situation has our fullest attention. The safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. We are monitoring updates and guidance from authorities and health organisations and have a range of options and back-up capacity should the need arise to help maintain lifeline services.
On board our vessels and at our ports, we are taking precautionary measures to prevent any spread of the Coronavirus:
- Our vessels have established procedures for any passengers who contract the virus, including quarantine measures.
- Increased frequency of preventive cleaning and disinfection of “Hand Contact Point Hotspots” such as door handles, access touchpads, telephones etc.
- The vessels’ crew are subject to strict measures and hygiene requirements.
- Information supplied on hygienic measures based on the World Health Organisation’s guidelines.
In the interest of the safety of our customers and crew the following additional measures have been implemented on board:
- Food service will be limited to pre packed sandwiches/salads, snacks and canned/bottled drinks.
- Bottled/canned beer and wine will be available from the main café as the bar will be closed so that additional cleaning duties can be undertaken by crew member usually manning the bar.
- The shop will be open. However, opening times may be restricted to allow for extra cleaning.
- Only contactless payments will be permitted to reduce physical contact. No cash transactions will be possible.

NOTICE REGARDING ISLE OF MAN BORDERS & PASSENGER TRAVEL (Updated 03/09/2020)
The Isle of Man Government closed its borders on Friday 27 March 2020. There are currently travel restrictions in place for Isle of Man residents and visitors.
Isle of Man Residents
The Isle of Man Government will permit Isle of Man residents to travel off-Island and return, providing that they strictly follow travel and self-isolation rules.
The Isle of Man’s borders will remain closed to non-Island residents until further notice.

NOTICE REGARDING RESCHEDULED SERVICES DUE TO ISLE OF MAN GOVERNMENT’S CONTINUED BORDERS CLOSURE (07/07/2020)
Due to the Isle of Man Government’s continued borders closure, we have rescheduled our services up to 1st November, inclusive. Passengers affected by changes to our scheduling during this period shall be contacted by our Reservations Team in due course.
Amendments and cancellations of bookings for travel affected by Government imposed COVID-19 travel restrictions may be made in accordance with our Book with Confidence Commitment.
We shall continue to monitor the Isle of Man’s borders closure situation. Should the borders fully re-open during the rescheduled period and the demand for additional services increases sufficiently, then we have the flexibility to make further adjustments to the schedule. We will continue to monitor and respond to demand, as we have done throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
NOTICE REGARDING FACE MASKS OR FACE COVERINGS (Updated 12/06/2020)
From Monday the 15th of June all passengers* will be required to wear face masks or face coverings whilst in our UK Terminals or on board our vessels when travelling with us. The safety of our passengers and crew is our number one priority, and we ask that all customers arrive at our ports prepared and with their own face mask or face covering.
* Children under the age of 11 and individuals with a breathing condition, illness or disability that prevents or hinders them from wearing a face covering are exempt from this requirement.

NOTICE REGARDING CLASSIC TT & MANX GRAND PRIX 2020 (04/05/2020)
The Isle of Man Government has now confirmed that the Classic TT & Manx Grand Prix in August 2020 have been cancelled as a Coronavirus precaution.
