Coronavirus Information

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has impacted travel globally. The safety of our customers and employees continues to be our top priority.

The Isle of Man’s response to COVID-19 has been recognised around the world. As a result of strict border controls and an amazing community spirit, Manx residents have lived virtually free of restrictions throughout most of the pandemic. The Isle of Man Government is working its way through a staged transition in opening its borders. Travel restrictions were eased from 28th June 2021.

NOTICE REGARDING FACE MASKS OR FACE COVERINGS

Following UK and IOM Government announcements (November 2021), it is a mandatory requirement for all* passengers to wear face masks or face coverings whilst in our terminals and whilst on board our vessels. The safety of our passengers and crew is our number one priority, and we ask that all customers arrive at our ports prepared with their own face mask or face covering.

* Individuals with a medical exemption and children under the age of 11 are exempt from this requirement. You may remove your face covering or mask temporarily in order to eat and drink.

Here is some guidance from Public Health England on how to wear and make a cloth face covering.

Travelling to the Republic of Ireland

All passengers intending to visit the Republic of Ireland must comply with the Government of Ireland’s COVID-19 travel requirements.

Please ensure that you are aware of expected requirements in place at your proposed time of travel before you commence your journey. Currently, passengers must complete an online Passenger Locator Form prior to travel. Ferry companies are required to deny boarding to any passenger who does not produce an e-receipt from a completed COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form, so please have this ready for inspection at check-in. For details, please see the Government of Ireland website.

We are monitoring updates and guidance from authorities and health organisations and have a range of options and back-up capacity should the need arise to help maintain lifeline services.
