Guide/Assistance Dogs
Please do not select a quantity (leave at 0) if you are traveling with a certified guide/assistance dog. Please provide details in the ‘Assistance Required?’ section of the ‘Passengers Details’ stage later in the booking process.  Certified guide and assistance dogs are permitted in all passenger areas on board our vessels and travel free of charge. Correct documentation must be available when traveling and they must wear the special guide dog harness or jacket at all times when on the passenger decks.

Passengers wishing to travel with their pet/s must specify how they will be accommodated at the ‘Extras’ stage of the booking process.

If traveling on our conventional ferry Ben-my-Chree you will be able to select from the following options subject to availability:

  • Pet Lounge
  • Pet Friendly Cabin
  • Pet Kennel 
  • Pet/s to remain in your vehicle

If traveling on our fast craft Manannan you will be able to select from the following options subject to availability:

  • Pet Kennel 
  • Pet/s to remain in your vehicle

Please note: A pet is classed as a domestic animal such as a cat or dog.  Animals raised in an agricultural environment will be classed as livestock and would need to be booked with our reservations team.
