Competition Terms & Conditions

The competition is open to children aged up to sixteen years,  anresidents of the Isle of Man, Channel Islands, United Kingdom & Ireland only and excludes employees of the Promoter (Isle of Man Steam Packet Company), their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

 

Entry

  1. Entries must be submitted on the drawing competition sheet, available on board Isle of Man Steam Packet Company vessels or at Douglas, Heysham or Liverpool terminals.
  2. Forms should be returned to terminals or PSO offices on board, or can be scanned and emailed to [email protected].
  3. Entry form details are to be completed by a responsible adult (over 18) with a contact email address and phone number.
  4. The competition runs from 1st  August 2022 and closes on 5th September 2022 (the ‘Promotional Period’). Once you have submitted your form you will be entered into the competition.
  5. All competition entries must be received by the Closing Date (23:59 BST on 5th September to be eligible for judging. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

Prize

  1. The competition prize is: a £200 voucher for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company to be used within 18 months of issuing. First, Second and Third place drawings will receive prizes of goody bags. Spot prizes may be awarded at the judges’ discretion.
  1. The judging to select the winner will take place at the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company before 15th  September 2022 and the winner will be informed via the contact details provided at entry.

 

Promotion

  1. Entrants may be invited to participate in publicity arising from this promotion, although they are under no obligation to do so and will only participate with their expressed consent.
  2. Any drawing entered in the competition may be used by the promoter for the purposes of promoting the competition or announcing results.

Responsibility

  1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid.
  2. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to void, cancel, suspend or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  3. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.
  1. By entering the competition, the entrant will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
  1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or liability caused by matters relating to this competition. This does not affect any statutory rights.

    In the event of dispute in any of the above promotions the decision of the Promoter (Isle of Man Steam Packet Company) is final.
