Ferry services between Heysham and the Isle of Man
This year, The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company will operate sailings between the Isle of Man and Heysham using our flagship, the Ben-my-Chree operating twice daily all year round. The crossing time is a leisurely 3 hours 30 minutes. Additional sailings are also available during the TT race period using fast craft services, reducing the crossing time to just 2 hours.
Location
Steam Packet Company, Heysham Port, Heysham, Lancashire, LA3 2XF . The port lies at the west end of Heysham Village and is well sign-posted.
Access
If you are travelling by car, Heysham is reached by following the signs from Junction 34 on the M6 through Lancaster .
Other Public Transport
Stagecoach Ribble operate a bus service from Combermere Road in Heysham. This is approximately a 10-minute walk to the passenger terminal. Details are available from Stagecoach on 0870 6082608.
Taxis
You may wish to book a taxi in advance of your arrival at the port of Heysham. You can do so by calling Radio Cabs on 01524 848848; or Coastal Cabs from Morecambe on 01524 424424.
Car Parking
Car parking (at owner's risk) is available adjacent to the Terminal Building . Ample space is available and no advance booking is required. The current charge is £5 per 24hrs (maximum stay 28 days).
Check-In
Car passengers should check-in at the vehicle booths at the entrance to the port. Foot passengers should check in at the Passenger Terminal.
