Liverpool Lime Street
station, approximately 2 miles from the Landing Stage, offers connections with through services to many parts of the country.

From 27th December 2008 the route linking Liverpool Lime Street rail station and Pier Head is the City Link C2 bus route. This bus service will be operated by Arriva on behalf of Merseytravel.

While Lime Street is not a timing point listed in the timetable, we have been advised that the C2 bus is likely to pass Lime Street a few minutes before its Queens Square Bus Station time.

When getting the C2 bus from Liverpool Lime Street rail station the bus stop will be on Lime Street near the junction with Lord Nelson Street outside the Liverpool John Moores University student hall "North Western Hall" and opposite St George's Hall. Please note that it is NOT the bus stops on Skelthorne Street where other buses go from such as the Airport 500.
