Due to work being conducted by the Water Board the Belfast Terminal can only be accessed via Donegall Quay

From Bangor A2

Follow the A2 from Bangor to Belfast.
Follow signs for City Centre Queen's Bridge (slip road to left). When travelling over the Queen’s Bridge stay in the right-hand lane following on around the corner now looking for the signs to City Airport.  At the traffic lights beside the Albert clock you should be in the second lane from the right. 

Now continue round the corner you will see a yellow IOM Ferries sign at the second turn on the left.  You are now on Donegall Quay continue to the end of the road and turn right through the gates just passed the Isle of Man Steam Packet terminal to enter vehicle check-in.  Foot passenger car park is situated on the left hand side of Donegall Quay, facing the Terminal Building.

From M2

Travelling along M2 towards Belfast following signs for Docks/City Centre Exit 1B. Continue to follow signs for City Centre staying in the left-hand lane you will now see yellow signs for IOM Ferries.  Continue under bridge passed second set of lights (staying in left-hand lane) continue around the corner through the third set of lights you will see a yellow IOM Ferries sign at the second turn on the left.  You are now on Donegall Quay continue to the end of the road and turn right through the gates just passed the Isle of Man Steam Packet terminal to enter vehicle check-in.  Foot passenger car park is situated on the left hand side of Donegall Quay, facing the Terminal Building.

From M1

Travel along the M1 towards Belfast joining the WestLink.  Continue along the Westlink following signs for Docks.  At the end of the Westlink you continue to follow the signs for the Docks which will take you left.  Passing Yorkgate shopping centre you will see further signs for the Docks (right at traffic lights). Stay in the lane second from the right you will now see yellow signs for IOM Ferries.  Continue under bridge passed second set of lights (staying in left-hand lane). Continue around the corner through the third set of lights you will see a yellow IOM Ferries sign at the second turn on the left.  You are now on Donegall Quay continue to the end of the road and turn right through the gates just passed the Isle of Man Steam Packet terminal to enter vehicle check-in.  Foot passenger car park is situated on the left hand side of Donegall Quay, facing the Terminal Building.



Onward Public Transport

Ulsterbus operate bus services Northern Ireland wide, serving all main towns and villages. There are 21 main Ulsterbus passenger facilities Provence wide. North and East bound services from Belfast depart Laganside Buscentre - South and West depart from Europa Buscentre. Translink also offer train connections throughout Northern Ireland with Belfast Central Station around 15 minutes walk from the terminal. Taxis meet most arrivals. If one is not available please use the free phone in the terminal or you could contact Value Cabs prior to your arrival.

Car Parking

Short term parking facilities for set down and pick up are available at the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Terminal.

Check-in

Car passengers should check-in at the vehicle reception. Check-in closes 45 minutes prior to departure. Foot passengers should proceed into the Passenger Terminal. Foot passenger check-in closes 25 minutes prior to departure. Tickets may be purchased from the terminal if space is still available.

Catering Facilities

Light refreshments are available in the departure lounge of the Steam Packet Terminal.
