BEN-MY-CHREE RETURN TO SERVICE DELAYED

Ben-my-Chree will return to service from its biennial maintenance as planned on Monday, April 14. She has been in dry dock since the start of April and her first sailing will be the 14.15 Heysham-Isle of Man service.

Due to forecasted severe weather tomorrow's 08.45 sailing to Heysham will be undertaken by the Ben-My-Chree instead of the Viking.  As a result the 12.00 from Heysham will now depart at 14.15.  Last check in for this service will be 13.30 for vehicles and 13.50 for foot passengers.

Weather conditions earlier today forced the scheduled 15.00 Viking sailing to Liverpool to return to Douglas. The Ben-my-Chree was not due to sail this evening, however special arrangements were made for this vessel to take those passengers originally booked on the 15.00 sailing to Liverpool to Heysham.
