Due to an ongoing technical problem with Superseacat Two her passage times are longer than normal. She is currently achieving 27 knots which whilst considerably quicker than a conventional ferry, will add thirty minutes approximately to her normal passage time.

 

To improve customer service a revised schedule of sailings has been prepared to reflect the longer crossing times. In this period the Company will cancel some scheduled sailings and transfer some booked passengers to its twice daily Heysham services.

 

Booked passengers who will be affected are being advised of revised booking details with any further booking change necessary being accommodated by the Company by contacting them on 08705 523 523.

 

The Steam Packet Company apologise and fully acknowledge that such measures will present some inconvenience to their customers but stress that they are doing all they possibly can to expedite the repair programme.
