The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Isle of Man Advertising & PR to handle its media and public relations.
Isle of Man Advertising & PR has been brought in to replace former Communications Manager Laura Howland, who has left the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company to start a family.
The agreement with the agency comes as the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company launches a major re-branding campaign.
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Chief Executive Mark Woodward said: “We are pleased to secure the services of one of the longest established and most respected PR agencies in the Island. Isle of Man Advertising & PR has a strong track record in working with high profile clients and we are confident its experienced team has all the necessary skills to ensure that we get our message across to the public – and likewise ensure that our customers have access to the information that they need.
“All of us at the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company wish Laura well for the future and I’d like to offer our sincere thanks for the hard work she has put in since she joined us.”
Isle of Man Advertising & PR was formed in 1986 and has developed into one of the largest agencies of its kind in the Island, specialising in public relations, marketing strategy, advertising, graphic design and web design and development.
Managing Director Helen Summerscales said: “The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is one of the oldest and most recognisable names in the Island and it serves such a vital role, one that impacts on each of us every day, whether directly through travel or indirectly via the transport of freight and goods.
“It’s an exciting time for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and we’re delighted to have the opportunity to work with Mark and his team at this important stage in the company’s development.”
