Special Offers shown on this page are our LOWEST online fares, only available by booking through this site. These include a £12/€14 discount for return car offers and £6/€7 discount for foot passengers (single and return) and return motorcycle offers.
Each way Special Offer fares are shown to help you calculate your return fare across two tariff periods. Each way Special Offer fares can only be taken as part of a return offer and cannot be used as single fares nor in conjunction with Standard Single Fares. In order to benefit from the rates displayed, travel must be completed between the dates shown.

Obtaining the Best Fares
The vast majority of passengers now benefit from our range of Special Offer fares , which are very widely available, but can be restricted or sold out on busier sailings. These Offers give substantial savings compared to the Standard fares and are designed to encourage customers to make additional trips, particularly at off peak periods. Both Standard and Special Offer fares are significantly cheaper in real terms than those available only a decade ago as overall prices decrease in real terms every year, but Offers are sold 'subject to availability' and restrictions may apply . The allocation of offers differ sailing to sailing according to demand and sales, and on some busier sailings they can sell out fast.
To get the best rates it can pay to:
- Book early to get the best choice of offer fares
- Be flexible with travel dates and timings - it is often cheaper midweek or perhaps on later departures, so check alternative crossings
- Consider using alternative ports for either leg of your journey
- Try to avoid holiday periods or peak events when possible, or travel out of season
- Consider whether a short break may be cheaper
Our website will automatically quote the cheapest fare available at the time of enquiry but that fare cannot be guaranteed at a later time or date. Most offers are changeable but non refundable. If you do need to change your offer booking there will be an amendment fee per person (£5 online but £10 if telephone amendments are required) and any extra change in fare now applicable for the new sailing. Amendment fees reflect the lost sales opportunity for the Company, and as many of the best offer prices can sell quickly it can be more expensive to make late amendments.
Around 80% of customers do benefit from the range of offers available but very many offers still go unsold every year!

We do NOT charge for using debit cards when booking. There is a £3/€4 charge per transaction for using credit cards when booking.
Special Offer Terms & Conditions
- Vehicle special offers must be booked a minimum of 48 hours in advance and paid for in full at the time of booking. Foot passenger special offers must be booked a minimum of 24 hours in advance with the exception of day trips which can be booked up until the day of travel subject to availability.
- Alterations to booked Special Offer fares are subject to an online amendment fee of £5/€6 per person, or offline amendment fee of £10/€12 per person per transaction. You must also pay any increase in the fare applicable. No refunds or credits will be allowed.
- Day trip from Isle of Man: Outward journey must be completed before 11:30 hours. Return journey must be completed on the same day, or the following day's 02:15 hours sailing from Heysham. Day trip to the Isle of Man: Outward journey must commence before 11:30 hours. Return journey must be completed on the same day.
- Passenger descriptions: Adult = 16 years and over. Child = 4 to 15 years.
- Special offers are subject to general Conditions of Carriage. In the event of a conflict between these conditions and the above Special Offer Conditions, the Special Offer Conditions shall prevail.

Fuel Surcharge
We reserve the right to levy a fuel surcharge to reflect the changing costs of marine fuel. The level of fuel surcharges may be subject to change. Prices shown currently include a fuel surcharge of £2.75/€3 per passenger each way.
