Both the Ben-my-Chree and Viking offer the facility for your dog to travel in your car on our well ventilated car decks (we do not charge for this service. Both vessels also allow for passengers to travel with Guide Dogs, Assistance Dogs such as Hearing Dogs and Dogs for the Disabled (accompanied by an owner).

In addition to this, your dog may travel with you on board the Ben-my-Chree in our designated side lounge for a small supplement of £5 per dog each single leg crossing. This applies for both foot passengers and also if you are taking your vehicle.

We also offer 2 designated Dog Cabins on board the Ben-my-Chree, which cost £37 per cabin per single leg crossing for a daytime sailing and £60 for an overnight crossing.

Special note for booking your dog to travel with you

Only select a number of dogs if you intend bringing your dog into the Passenger and Dog Lounge aboard the Ben-my-Chree.

Do not select if you wish your dog to travel within your vehicle or if your dog is a registered guide dog.

Please note, with the exception of registered guide dogs, dogs are not permitted on the passenger decks of fast crafts (Liverpool, Belfast & Dublin Services).
